Ingredients

  • 400 g white cabbage
  • 400 g red cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame paste
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • juice of one lime
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 0.5 bunch Thai basil

    1. PREPARE THE CABBAGE AND CARROTS

    Wash, trim and remove the core from the cabbage varieties and cut into fine strips or shave.

    Peel the carrots and also cut into fine strips or shave.

    2. COMBINE THE INGREDIENTS

    Stir sesame seeds with sugar, ginger, sesame oil, paste, lime juice and finely chopped chili pepper. Mix in the cabbage and let it rest for about 15 minutes. Then fold in the chopped basil and serve.
