The Buckwheat-Mustard Porridge with Orange from Spoonsparrow provides a good start to the day and warms you from within on cold days.

Ingredients

  • 200 g buckwheat flakes
  • 600 ml Oat drink (Oat milk)
  • 50 ml orange juice
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Vanilla powder
  • 30 g blue mustard (2 tbsp)
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 1 Organic Orange

Instructions

    Bring the buckwheat flakes, oat drink, orange juice, cinnamon, vanilla, mustard and half the honey to a boil in a pot. Then simmer for about 10 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.

    Peel the orange hot and zest it; carefully remove the remaining peel with a knife. Cut the fruit flesh into small cubes.

    Fill bowls with porridge, top with orange cubes and zest, and drizzle the remaining honey on top.
