Ingredients

  • 1 Ciabatta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 round goat cheese wedges (120 g each)
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 2-3 sprigs lavender
  • 8 tsp liquid honey

Instructions

    Slice the ciabatta into 8 pieces, brush with olive oil and roast in a preheated oven at 200°C on the rack for 6–8 minutes.

    Halve the goat cheese wedges crosswise. Top the bread slices with goat cheese and bake for another 6–8 minutes until golden.

    Remove lavender buds from stems. Slice the chili pepper lengthwise, remove seeds, and cut into rings. Sprinkle lavender over the cheese and drizzle honey on the toasted slices before serving.
