- 800 g fish fillet (e.g., redfish, pollock, plaice)
- Salt
- black pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Eggs
- 50 g flour
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- fat for frying

Wash the fish fillets, pat dry and cut into strips about 2x8 cm. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with lemon juice. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Place the flour and breadcrumbs on separate plates. First coat each fish piece in flour, then dip in egg, and finally roll in breadcrumbs, pressing the coating firmly.

Fry portions in hot fat (about 170°C) for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and serve over salad with a lemon slice and tomato ketchup as desired.
