Bread Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 10 old-fashioned whole‑wheat rolls (bread pieces)
  • Salt
  • 500 ml lukewarm milk
  • 1 onion
  • 20 g butter
  • 4 sprigs Parsley
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

    Cut the bread rolls into thin slices, sprinkle with salt, pour over warm milk, cover and let sit.

    Peel the onion, dice it, and sauté in butter in a hot pan. Wash the parsley, shake dry, and finely chop. Mix the dumpling dough with onion, parsley, and eggs. If too soft, add a little flour or breadcrumbs.
