Ingredients
- 6 old-fashioned rolls
- 250 ml lukewarm milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 50 g soft butter
- 75 g brown sugar
- 60 g shelled almonds
- 60 g cranberries
- 80 g chocolate chips

Slice the rolls into thin pieces, place them in a bowl, pour the milk over and let soak for about 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Line a springform pan with parchment paper.

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with lemon juice until stiff peaks form. Cream the butter with sugar. Fold in the yolks. Add the softened roll slices and mix well. Stir in almonds, cranberries, and chocolate chips, then fold in the meringue. Pour the batter into the pan, smooth the top, and bake for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
