Ingredients

  • 200 g soft butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 EL vanilla sugar
  • 150 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 40 ml grappa
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 TL baking powder
  • 100 ml milk
  • soft butter (for the pan)
  • soft bread crumbs (for the pan)
  • 600 g seedless green grapes
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 150 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g butter

Instructions

  1. 1.

Beat the butter with salt, vanilla sugar and sugar until fluffy. Gradually fold in the eggs and add 2 cl Grappa. Mix the flour with baking powder and add to the egg mixture. Stir in a little milk to create a smooth, heavy dough.

  2. 2.

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Grease the springform pan and line it with crumbs.

  3. 3.

Wash the grapes, strip them from the stems and pat dry.

  4. 4.

Pour the dough into the pan and spread evenly. Arrange the grapes on top, dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with the remaining Grappa.

  5. 5.

For the crumb topping mix flour and sugar in a bowl. Melt butter, pour over the mixture and stir until crumbs form. Sprinkle over the grapes and bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes (test with a skewer).

  6. 6.

Remove, let cool, then unmold onto a cooling rack to finish cooling completely. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
