Ingredients

  • 800 g firm potatoes
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 onion
  • 150 ml meat broth
  • 3 tbsp wine vinegar
  • a pinch of sugar
  • Pepper
  • 4 pickles
  • 4 bratwurst sausages
  • 5 tbsp Rapeseed Oil
  • 2 tbsp chives

Instructions

    Wash the potatoes and cook them in salted water with cumin for about 30 minutes. Drain, peel, let steam dry and slice into rounds. Peel and finely dice the onion. Bring the broth to a boil, remove from heat, stir in vinegar and season with sugar, salt, and pepper. Dice the pickles and add the dressing over the potatoes, gently mix and let sit for about 15 minutes.

    Brown the bratwurst in 2 tbsp hot oil in a pan for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
