Ingredients
- 300 g puff pastry
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 red chili pepper
- 250 g smoked fish (e.g., pike)
- 4 eggs
- 250 ml Whipping Cream
- 150 g grated cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- Salt
- Pepper

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan.

Spread the puff pastry and cut into 4 squares (~20x20 cm). Brush 4 small pie tins (~10 cm diameter) with oil and line with pastry squares, allowing a slight overhang.

Peel and finely dice the onion. Wash, halve, deseed, and chop the chili pepper. Sauté both in the remaining oil briefly. Remove from heat and fold in shredded smoked fish. Fill the tins. Whisk eggs with cream, stir in cheese, salt and pepper. Pour over the fish mixture and bake for about 35 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from oven, let cool slightly, lift out of tins and serve warm or at room temperature.
