Ingredients

  • 800 g blackthorns
  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 1 bunch mint leaves
  • 1 kg 1:1 gelatin sugar

Instructions

    Wash, clean, pat dry, and halve or quarter the blackthorns. Combine with apple juice, lemon juice, and sugar in a large pot and let steep for 2 hours.

    Heat while stirring and bring to a gentle boil for 5 minutes. Add mint leaves, stir, and immediately fill prepared jars to the brim. Seal well and place on the lid for 10 minutes, then turn over and allow to cool.
