Making blackberry juice yourself is very easy. Spoonsparrow shows you how simple it is to produce the juice at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 kg red blackberries
  • 500 g whole cane sugar

Instructions

  1. 1.

Wash, clean the blackberries, strip them from their stems and bring them to a boil in a pot with 600 ml water and sugar. Mash the fruit with a potato masher and simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2.

Pour the liquid through a sieve lined with a muslin cloth and let it drain overnight. The next day squeeze the remaining fruit and bring the juice to a boil again. Pour into well-drained bottles, seal tightly, and store in a cool dark place.
