Berry Porridge

Berry Porridge: A power start to the day and an alternative to breakfast bread. The berry porridge offers various berries and buckwheat groats.

Ingredients

  • 4 dried apricots
  • 500 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • 5 g Butter (1 tsp)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 70 g buckwheat groats
  • 2 tsp agave nectar
  • 300 g mixed berries (e.g. strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)

Instructions

    Finely dice the apricots.

    Bring milk, butter and a pinch of salt to a boil. Add buckwheat groats and apricots, and simmer with stirring for 15-20 minutes until the groats have softened.

    Meanwhile, wash, drain and clean the berries. Quarter the strawberries.

  4. 4.

    Stir in the agave nectar into the buckwheat porridge. Distribute the porridge into bowls and top with the berries.
