The Berry Chocolate Crumble from Spoonsparrow is a must-try – Clean Baking at its best!

Ingredients

  • 400 g blackberries
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 0.5 Vanilla bean
  • 125 g spelt whole‑grain flour
  • 50 g coconut palm sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder (30 g, strongly defatted)
  • 80 g Butter
  • 15 g cashew butter (1 tbsp)
  • a pinch ground cinnamon
  • a pinch salt

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Wash the berries, place them in a baking dish and drizzle with honey. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife.

    Process flour, coconut palm sugar, cocoa powder, butter, cashew butter, vanilla seeds, cinnamon, and salt into crumb topping. Sprinkle the crumbs over the berries and press lightly down.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 20–25 minutes and serve warm.
