Berry Apple Jam

Ingredients

  • 500 g blackcurrants
  • 500 g blackberries
  • 2 apples (500 g)
  • 500 g gelatin sugar (3:1)
  • 1 packet citric acid (5 g)

Instructions

    Rinse the blackcurrants and let them drain; clean them. Gently rinse the blackberries, remove stems, and let them drain. Wash the apples, quarter them, remove cores and peel. Cut the apples into pieces.

    Mix all fruit with gelatin sugar in a pot. Cover and let sit for 2 hours so some juice forms.

    Bring to a boil over high heat while stirring, then simmer for at least 3 minutes with constant stirring until bubbling. Stir in citric acid.
