Ingredients

  • 800 g beef
  • 100 g bacon cubes
  • 100 g Emmental cheese (diced)
  • 2 rolls
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 2 tbsp rice
  • 1 onion
  • bell peppers (2 red and 2 yellow)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • oil (for the pan)
  • parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

    Soak the rolls in water and squeeze out excess liquid.

    Mix beef with rolls, bacon cubes, cheese cubes, eggs, parsley, and rice. Dice onion and one red and one yellow bell pepper and add them; season with salt and pepper.

    Shape into a loaf with wet hands and place in an oiled baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 50–60 minutes. While baking, cut the remaining bell peppers into wide strips and lay them over the loaf after 30 minutes. Garnish with parsley. Serve with mashed potatoes.
