- 4 tbsp salt
- rapeseed oil

The freshly picked, unwashed (and stem‑removed) bear garlic flowers are placed in a bowl and thoroughly mixed with some oil and the salt.

Fill the flower mixture into a screw‑top jar whose capacity matches the volume of the tightly packed flowers.

Cover the flowers completely with oil. After an aging period of 8 weeks the flower pesto can be used.
