Ingredients
- 0.5 Vanilla pod
- 1 Organic lemon
- 250 g butter
- 120 g raw cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 eggs
- 300 g spelt flour type 1050
- 1 pack baking powder
- 3 tbsp Milk (3.5% fat)
Instructions

Split the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Wash, dry the lemon and grate 1 tsp of zest.

Beat the butter in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and salt while stirring until a cohesive mixture forms. Fold in eggs, milk, vanilla seeds and lemon zest. Mix flour with baking powder and incorporate. Finally stir in milk together with vanilla seeds and lemon zest into the batter.
