Barbecue Potatoes with Sausages

Ingredients

  • 500 g cooked potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter tallow
  • 400 g bratwurst
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 150 g Mushrooms
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 handful freshly chopped parsley
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • caraway (ground)
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

    Peel the potatoes and dice them small. In a hot, oven‑proof skillet, stir‑fry in butter tallow for about 5 minutes. Cut the sausages into pieces and cook with the potatoes another 5 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F) on top heat.

    Wash, trim, and halve the tomatoes. Clean and cut the mushrooms. Peel and roughly dice the onion. Add them with the mushrooms to the skillet and stir‑fry with the potatoes and sausages for about 5 more minutes until golden brown. Add the tomatoes and parsley, season with salt, pepper, and caraway. Crack the eggs over the mixture and slide them gently on top. Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes until set, then serve.
