Banana in Spring Roll Wrapper Bake

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 Lime (juice)
  • 100 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 12 sheets of frozen spring roll wrappers (about 21.5x21.5 cm each)
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

    Peel the bananas, cut them lengthwise and crosswise into quarters. Brush with lime juice. Grate the chocolate finely. Lay out the spring roll wrappers and place a banana quarter in the center of each lower side. Sprinkle some chocolate over it and fold the edges over from the sides. Roll into rolls, wetting the edges with water to seal.

    Fry the rolls in hot oil for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and serve as hot as possible.
