The Banana‑Fig smoothie from Spoonsparrow is quick to prepare and perfect for on‑the‑go!
Ingredients
- 2 Bananas
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 4 ripe figs
- 1 Vanilla bean
- 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
- 500 g low‑fat quark
- 400 ml still mineral water

Peel the bananas. Slice one banana into rounds, dice them into small cubes, drizzle with lime juice and set aside. Roughly chop the remaining bananas.

Halve the figs and remove the flesh. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife. Blend fig flesh, banana pieces, vanilla seeds, cinnamon, and quark until smooth, then stir in mineral water.

Pour the banana‑fig buttermilk into tall glasses or cups and garnish with diced bananas before serving.
