Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 veal cutlet (ca. 1.2 kg)
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 200 ml dry white wine
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 8 sage leaves

Preheat the oven to 180°C with fan and top heating.

Peel the onions and garlic, quarter the onions. Place them in a roasting pan. Rinse the cutlet, pat it dry and season with salt and pepper. Lay it on top of the onions and drizzle with olive oil. Roast for about 20 minutes. Add the wine, turn the meat and cook for another 30 minutes. Then pour in the cream and add the sage leaves to the sauce. If needed, add a little water and continue basting the meat with the liquid. Simmer for an additional 15-20 minutes and finally stir in crème fraîche. Taste and serve.
