Ingredients

  • 200 g almond flakes
  • 1 Pomegranate
  • 4 small goat cheese rounds (e.g., goat Camembert)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • oil for frying

Instructions

    Toast half of the almonds in a non-stick pan without oil until golden brown, remove and let cool. Halve the pomegranate and extract or press out the seeds.

    Coat the goat cheese rounds in beaten egg, then roll them in the remaining unroasted almonds. Fry quickly in hot oil until golden brown. Plate and garnish with toasted almond flakes and pomegranate seeds. Serve immediately.
