Baked Dough Sheets with Strawberry Filling

- 1 packet Yufkateig (frozen, ca. 500 g)
- 2 tbsp chopped peanuts
- 100 g butter
- 300 g Strawberries
- 200 g whipping cream
- mint
- orange zest (thin strips)
Instructions

Let dough sheets thaw. Then lay them individually side by side and cut or punch out even circles about 12 cm in diameter. Melt butter and briefly toast the peanuts in it. Spread the peanut‑butter mixture over the dough circles and stack into 8 layers. Place on baking trays lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes.

Remove and let cool.

Wash, hull, and slice strawberries.

Beat cream to semi‑soft peaks.

Place one dough stack on each of four plates, top with half the strawberries and half the cream, then add remaining dough stacks, strawberries, and cream. Garnish with mint and thin orange zest strips before serving.
