Baked Brussels Sprouts with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 750 g Brussels sprouts (cleaned)
  • 75 g breakfast bacon (diced)
  • 250 g mushrooms (sliced)
  • 100 ml whipping cream
  • 100 g lean shredded cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 175°C. Cook the Brussels sprouts in plenty of salted water until just tender, then drain in a colander.

    Sauté the breakfast bacon in a pan until crisp. Add the mushrooms and sauté for 2 minutes, turning regularly.

    Place the Brussels sprouts in a greased, oven‑proof dish, mix in the mushrooms and cream. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
