Ingredients

  • 300 g red onions
  • 3 apples
  • 2 EL balsamic vinegar
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 2 EL brown sugar
  • fat (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat). Grease a baking tray.

    Peel and quarter the onions, wash the apples, remove cores and cut into quarters.

  3. 3.

    Place both in the tray and bake for about 20 minutes.

    Whisk together balsamic vinegar and apple juice, pour over the fruit, stir well and sprinkle with sugar. Bake again for another 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.
