Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 125 g butter
- 1 egg
- Salt
- 4 apples
- 4 tbsp strawberry jam
- fat for baking sheet
Instructions

Quickly mix flour, butter, egg and a pinch of salt into a smooth dough, shape it into a ball, wrap in foil and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Wash the apples, remove the core and peel them. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut four equal squares with a pastry cutter.

Place an apple in each square, fill the center with jam, fold the dough over the apple and press the edges together.

Grease a baking sheet and arrange the apples side by side. Bake at 175 °C for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
