Ingredients

  • 8 slices baguette
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bunch Basil
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 200 g smoked mozzarella
  • Sea salt
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

    Peel and finely chop the garlic. Pick leaves from the basil, setting aside a few for garnish. Finely chop half of the basil, slice the other half into strips. Mix chopped basil with garlic and olive oil.

    Wash, quarter, seed, and dice the tomatoes. Dice the mozzarella as well. Combine with lemon juice and sliced basil, seasoning with sea salt to taste.

    Grill baguette slices until golden brown on each side. Brush with the garlic-basil oil and top with the tomato-mozzarella mixture. Garnish with basil and serve immediately.
