Baby Waffles

Spoonsparrow baby waffles are delicious and nutrient-rich. They also come without refined sugar!

Ingredients

  • 0.5 Banana
  • 160 g cooked chickpeas
  • 240 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • 180 g peanut butter
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla powder
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed (10 g each)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed Oil

Instructions

    Peel the banana, cut into large pieces and blend with all ingredients except the oil in a high-powered blender or food processor until smooth.

    Meanwhile preheat the waffle iron and brush it with oil. Pour about 60 ml (≈¼ cup) batter per waffle and bake until golden brown and crisp, using up all the batter this way.

    Remove finished baby waffles from the iron, let them cool slightly, then cut into strips about 2.5 cm wide.
