Fish Burger with Chili Sauce

The homemade fish burger with chili sauce from Spoonsparrow is always well received and quick to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 tomato
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 pangasius fillets (160 g each, preferably organic pangasius)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 4 whole‑grain hamburger buns
  • 4 tbsp sweet chili sauce

Instructions

    Wash the tomato, cut off the stem end and slice it.

  2. 2.

    Rinse and pat dry the lettuce leaves.

  3. 3.

    Rinse the fish fillets, pat them dry with paper towels, and season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4.

    Heat oil in a non‑stick pan and fry the fillets for 4–5 minutes on each side.

    Meanwhile split the buns in half, spread 1 tbsp chili sauce on the bottom halves and place one lettuce leaf on each.

  6. 6.

    Top with the fish fillet and arrange tomato slices. Place the top bun halves back on and serve the fish burgers with chili sauce.
