Baby fries from Spoonsparrow – the healthy and tasty alternative for little explorers who want to learn to love vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 6 carrots
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed

Instructions

    Clean and peel the carrots, then cut them into about 2.5 cm thick, finger‑length pieces.

    In a large bowl combine the carrot sticks with olive oil, cinnamon, and ground flaxseed.

  3. 3.

    Spread the carrots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake the baby fries in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for 20 minutes.

    Remove the carrots from the oven and let the baby fries cool slightly before serving.
