Ayurveda Muesli

This hearty Ayurveda muesli with cinnamon and ginger not only keeps you full for a long time, but also helps to stabilize blood sugar levels.

Ingredients

  • 20 g ginger (1 piece)
  • 120 g fine 5-grain flakes (or rolled oats)
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 200 g sour apples (1 sour apple)
  • 150 g pears (1 pear)
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

    Peel and finely grate the ginger.

    Combine the grains, ginger, and 500 ml of water in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer gently for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Sweeten with maple syrup.

    Wash and dry the apples and pears. Quarter the fruit, remove the cores and cut into slices.

  4. 4.

    Heat the ghee in a separate pot. Add the apple and pear slices and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes. Season with cinnamon.

    Layer the grain porridge and fruit compote in glasses.
