Avocado Smoothie

Avocado smoothie: Avocados provide simple and multiple unsaturated fatty acids that positively influence cholesterol levels.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 Spring onion
  • 2 Avocados
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 tsp wasabi paste
  • 500 ml kefir
  • 450 g yogurt (0.3% fat)
  • 2 handfuls ice cubes
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Rinse the cilantro, shake dry and pluck the leaves. Clean the spring onion, rinse, drain and slice into rings.

    Halve the avocados and remove the pits. Use a spoon to loosen the flesh from the skins and place it with cilantro and spring onion rings in a blender or tall container.

    Squeeze the lime. Add 3 tbsp of juice, wasabi paste, kefir and yogurt to the avocado mixture.

    Blend everything in the blender or with an immersion blender, gradually adding the ice cubes. Season the avocado smoothie with salt and pepper and pour into glasses.
