Autumn Proats
Power breakfast with a protein kick: Try the autumnal proats with cinnamon and plums from Spoonsparrow for a fit start to your day!
Ingredients
- 70 g fine rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 160 ml oat milk
- 1.5 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch Vanilla powder
- 1 tsp Honey
- 200 g Low-fat quark
- 15 g almonds
- 15 g walnuts
- 200 g plums
- 1 tsp whole grain sugar
- 1 tbsp brown almond butter
Instructions

Add rolled oats and ground flaxseed to a bowl with 150 ml oat milk. Add cinnamon, vanilla powder, and honey to the bowl and stir well.

Divide the oat mixture into two glasses or jar tops. Whisk low-fat quark with 1 tbsp oat milk until smooth, then add half of the quark to each glass and cover overnight in the refrigerator.

In the morning, toast almonds and walnuts in a dry pan for 3 minutes. Wash, halve, pit, and cut plums into bite-sized pieces. Mix sugar with remaining cinnamon. Toss plum pieces in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Take proats from the fridge. Stir almond butter until smooth and spread over the glasses. Top with plum slices. Chop toasted almonds and walnuts and sprinkle on top before serving.
