Ingredients
- 1 kg flour
- 5 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 200 ml milk
- 200 ml water
- milk (for brushing)
- flour (for working)
- cheese (grated, for sprinkling)
Instructions

Add flour, baking powder and salt to a bowl and mix with the sugar.

Create a well in the center and pour in the milk and water. Quickly combine using a stand mixer or dough hook until a smooth dough forms.

Shape the dough into a round loaf on a baking sheet, brush with milk and dust with flour. Cut crosswise slashes with a sharp knife.

Bake at about 200°C for approximately 45 minutes. After 30 minutes sprinkle with cheese and continue baking until the crust is golden brown.
