Spoonsparrow Asparagus-Melon Cocktail: liquid asparagus serves as an excellent low-fat and effective detox drink!

Ingredients

  • 200 g green asparagus
  • 350 g small honeydew melon (0.5 small honeydew melons)
  • 75 g small organic orange (0.5 small organic oranges)
  • 1 handful lemon balm
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

    Wash the asparagus, trim the ends and cut the stalks into pieces.

    Pit the melon with a spoon and slice it into wedges. Cut the flesh from the rind and roughly cube it.

    Rinse the orange hot, dry it, and finely peel the zest with a julienne peeler.

    Wash and dry the lemon balm; set aside a few leaves.

  5. 5.

    Quarter the orange, cut the flesh from the rind. Juice the orange, lemon balm, asparagus, and melon in a juicer. Stir the juice with ice cubes in a highball glass. Garnish with orange peel and lemon balm leaves.
