Ingredients

  • 250 g parboiled rice
  • Salt
  • 450 g pak choi
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 20 g Ginger
  • 600 g pork tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed Oil
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds (15 g)
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1.

Cook the rice according to package instructions in boiling salted water until al dente.

  2. 2.

Meanwhile, separate pak choi into individual leaves, wash, trim and dry. Cut off the green parts and slice the white stems into strips.

  3. 3.

Clean, halve lengthwise, deseed and cut the chili pepper into thin long strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic and ginger.

  4. 4.

Rinse the pork under cold water, pat dry and slice into narrow strips.

  5. 5.

Heat oil in a wok. Sauté the pork over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until browned all around. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, remove and set aside.

  6. 6.

In the same wok, stir‑fry ginger, garlic and chili over medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Add the white pak choi strips and cook for 2 more minutes. Then add the green pak choi and pork, seasoning with soy sauce, oyster sauce and pepper to taste.

  7. 7.

Serve the rice topped with the Asian pork in bowls.
