Ingredients
- 2 sirloin steaks (about 300 g each)
- 1 Tbsp clarified butter
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 1 white onion
- 1 cucumber
- 1 red chili pepper
- 6 tbsp lemon juice
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce (Asian grocery)
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- ½ tsp fresh grated ginger
- Salt
- ground pepper
- coriander leaves
- mint
Instructions

Sear the steaks in hot clarified butter for about 3 minutes per side, then remove, season with salt and pepper, and let cool.

Peel the onion and slice into rings.

Wash the cucumber and cut into thin slices.

Wash the chili pepper, split it lengthwise, deseed, remove the white membrane, and slice into thin diagonal rings.

Whisk all dressing ingredients together and taste.

Slice the cooled steaks crosswise into very thin strips.

Arrange cucumber slices around the plate, top with steak, onions, and chili, then garnish with coriander leaves and mint. Drizzle with dressing and serve immediately.
