Ingredients

  • 1 kg apricots
  • 1 packet citric acid
  • 500 g invert sugar (2:1)
  • 40 ml orange liqueur

Instructions

    Boil apricots, shock in ice water, peel, halve, pit, and cut into small pieces.

    Combine fruit, citric acid, and invert sugar in a large pot. Cover and let sit for 30 minutes to release some juice.

    Bring to a vigorous boil over high heat while stirring, then simmer for at least 3 minutes until sparkling. Add orange liqueur during the last few seconds.

    Fill jars with jam, seal immediately with twist-off lids, and place jars on the lids for about 5 minutes.
