Apricot Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 kg apricots
  • 1 packet citric acid
  • 500 g extra gelatin sugar (2:1)
  • 40 ml orange liqueur

Instructions

    Blanch apricots, shock in cold water, peel, halve, pit, and cut into small pieces.

    Mix fruit, citric acid, and gelatin sugar in a large pot. Cover and let steep for 30 minutes to release some juice.

    Bring to a vigorous boil over high heat while stirring, then simmer at least 3 minutes until sparkling. Add orange liqueur in the last seconds.

    Fill jars with jam, seal immediately, and place lids on top of jars for about 5 minutes.
