Apple Quark Bowl with Flaxseed Oil and Walnuts from Spoonsparrow: The perfect partner for your health!
Ingredients
- 300 g Low-fat quark
- 4 tbsp Milk (3.5% fat)
- 4 tbsp Dr. Budwig Omega-3 Flaxseed Oil (available at Reformhaus®)
- 2 tbsp Apple sauce (without added sugar)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Walnuts (available at Reformhaus®)
- 1 apple
Instructions

Mix the low-fat quark with milk. Add 2 tbsp of Dr. Budwig Omega-3 flaxseed oil and stir until no oil is visible. Stir in apple sauce and honey. Spread the apple quark on 2 bowls.

Roughly chop the walnuts and toast them in a pan without fat over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.

Meanwhile, wash the apple, remove the core, dice it and spread it on the quark. Sprinkle the apple-quark bowl with roasted walnuts and drizzle with the remaining Dr. Budwig Omega-3 flaxseed oil.
