Apple Crumble Cake

Ingredients
- butter (for the pan)
- flour (for the pan)
- 180 g soft butter
- 160 g sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g Flour
- 160 g ground almonds
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 120 ml milk
- 5 apples (e.g., Jonagold)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp icing sugar

Preheat the oven to 180°C with top and bottom heat. Grease a springform pan with butter and dust it with flour.

Cream the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar, then gradually fold in the eggs and salt. Mix the flour with almonds and baking powder, then alternately stir into the butter mixture with milk. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.

Peel, halve, and core the apples; cut shallow decorative slits along the ridges (do not cut through). Drizzle the apples with lemon juice, place them on top of the batter with the ridges facing up, and press lightly down. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes; test with a toothpick.

Remove the Apple Crumble Cake from the oven and let it cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and icing sugar before serving.
