Make apple chips yourself: a healthy and fruity snack for in-between moments!

Ingredients

  • 4 apples (800g, Elstar or Boskop)

Instructions

    Wash the apples and pat them dry. Depending on preference, slice them thinly either crosswise or lengthwise.

    Place apple slices on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper and dry in a preheated oven at 80 °C for about 4 hours (if you have a dehydrator, you can also use that). Keep a wooden spoon wedged between the oven door to allow moisture to escape.

  3. 3.

    Remove finished apple chips from the oven and let them cool. Then seal airtight and consume within about 5 days.
