Apple-Carrot Juice with Ginger

The Apple-Carrot Smoothie from Spoonsparrow is rich in beta-carotene – great for healthy eyes and beautiful skin!
Ingredients
- 500 g carrots
- 2 Apples
- 2 stalks lemon balm
- 10 g ginger root (1 piece)
- 1 tsp cold-pressed olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions

Wash and peel the carrots thoroughly. Wash the apples, quarter them and core them. Wash the lemon balm and shake it dry. Peel the ginger.

Press the carrots, apples, and ginger through a juicer and pour the juice into glasses. Stir in the olive oil.

Season with lemon juice to taste if desired and garnish each glass with one stalk of lemon balm.
