Apple Cake with Plums

Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 175 g soft butter
- 150 g sugar
- 2 tbsp rum
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 80 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- a pinch salt
- 6 sour apples
- 5 plums
- 3 tbsp sugar
- butter (for the pan)
- flour (for the pan)
- powdered sugar (to dust)
Instructions

Beat soft butter with salt and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs, rum and mix in baking powder with flour. While stirring pour in milk until dough is smooth and easy to spread.

Peel apples, quarter them, remove cores and make a few shallow cuts on the back side without cutting through.

Grease pan with butter and dust with flour. Pour dough into pan and level surface.

Place apples in dough and sprinkle with 3 tbsp sugar. Put washed, pitted plums in center.

Bake in preheated oven at 180°C fan for about 45 minutes (test with a toothpick). If cake darkens too much cover with foil.

Remove and let cool in pan. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
