Ingredients
- 2 handfuls elderflowers
- 1 untreated lemon
- 500 g sugar
- 10 g citric acid (pharmacy)
Instructions

Do not wash the elderflowers, just shake them out of the bag. Rinse the lemon under hot water and slice it thinly. Slowly bring 1 l water to a boil while stirring in the sugar and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Let it cool, add the elderflowers and lemon slices, then transfer everything into a large pot or similar vessel. Cover and let steep for about two days.

Before bottling, strain through a cheesecloth and bring to a boil again with the citric acid while stirring. Pour into prepared bottles and keep tightly sealed.
