- 450 g pizza dough (frozen and thawed or fresh)
- 225 g sausage or bratwurst (raw)
- 1 onion
- 0.5 green bell pepper
- 1 Garlic clove
- 120 ml pizza sauce (canned)
- 120 g shredded mozzarella (or diced)
- 55 g grated parmesan
- 2 cherry tomatoes
- basil for garnish
Instructions
-
1.
Preheat the oven to 250°C fan-forced. Brush a deep pizza baking tray with oil.
-
2.
Roll out the yeast dough on a floured surface and place it in the prepared pan, shaping a small edge and pricking the base several times with a fork. Brush with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes to par-bake.

3.
For the topping, remove the sausage meat from its casing and brown it briefly in 1-2 tbsp hot oil in a skillet, breaking it into small balls. Peel and halve the onion, slicing into strips. Wash, core, and slice the bell pepper into fine strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Add all to the sausage mixture and cook for a few minutes until the meat is golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
