Alcohol-free eggnog: The American version of egg punch – but without the shot ⭐ Spoonsparrow has the recipe for it!
Ingredients
- 1 Vanilla bean
- 500 ml milk (3.5% fat)
- 150 g heavy cream
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 egg yolks
- 75 g raw cane sugar powdered
- nutmeg

For the alcohol-free eggnog first split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Combine both with milk, heavy cream and the cinnamon stick in a pot, bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Let it steep for an hour and cool. Remove the vanilla bean and cinnamon stick.

Whisk the egg yolks with powdered sugar over a hot water bath until light and frothy, being careful not to let them get too hot.

Slowly pour the cooled cream mixture into the egg yolk mixture while continuing to stir. Transfer the alcohol-free eggnog to a bottle and finish it for serving with freshly grated nutmeg.
