Ingredients

- 1 Zucchini
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 eggs
- 300 g flour
- 100 g ground hazelnuts
- 80 g chocolate shavings
- 1.5 tbsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with top and bottom heat.

Grease a loaf pan with butter and dust it with flour.

Wash, peel, and grate the zucchini. Cream the butter with sugar and salt, then gradually fold in the eggs. Mix the flour with hazelnuts, chocolate shavings, and baking powder, and alternately stir this mixture into the butter‑egg batter with milk. Finally fold in the grated zucchini and pour the batter into the prepared pan. Smooth the top and bake for 45–55 minutes.

Remove the finished loaf from the oven, let it cool, cut it into slices, and serve. Offer whipped cream on the side if desired.
