Yufka Wrap

Ingredients

  • 0.5 Zucchini
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 Carrot
  • 0.5 red bell pepper
  • large lettuce leaves
  • 1 tbsp Crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 round 20 cm Yufka dough sheets (Turkish specialty store)
  • butter

Instructions

    Clean and wash the vegetables; cut carrots into sticks, zucchini into slices, bell pepper into strips, spring onions into rings.

    Blanch the vegetables in boiling salted water for about 6 minutes, remove, shock in ice water, drain, then mix with crème fraîche, salt, and pepper.

    Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves.

    Sauté the Yufka sheets one by one in hot butter, layer with lettuce, spread the vegetable mixture on top, roll up, cut in half, and serve the Yufka wrap.
