Ingredients
- 1 large vegetable onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 8 pairs coarse bratwurst
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- Salt
- Pepper
- 0.5 tsp paprika powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 0.5 tsp Curry Powder
- 100 ml dry red wine
- 250 ml vegetable broth
- 400 ml passata
- Tabasco (to taste)
Instructions

Peel the onion, halve it and cut into 3-4 mm wide strips. Peel the garlic and finely chop.

Cut the sausages into 4 cm long pieces. Heat oil in a pan, brown the sausages all around, then remove and set aside.

Sauté the onions in the same pan, add tomato paste and cook briefly.

Season with salt, pepper, paprika, bay leaf and curry, pour in wine, broth and passata, let simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Add the sausages back and season with Tabasco.
